Community Guidelines

Belongward exists so people can feel less alone while going through real life.
These Guidelines help keep it a safe place to do that. Breaking them can lead to content removal, warnings, restrictions or suspension.
1. Be supportive
Listen first. You can disagree, and you can share a different view — but harassment, bullying, mocking and targeted abuse aren't allowed.
2. No hate or dehumanizing abuse
Don't attack or demean people for who they are, including race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, illness, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation.
3. No threats or promotion of violence
Don't threaten anyone, or encourage or celebrate violence.
4. No sexual exploitation or inappropriate sexual content
No sexual content involving minors, ever. No non-consensual intimate images, sexual solicitation, or explicit sexual content.
5. Protect privacy
Share your own story, not someone else's private details. Don't post another person's personal information, photos or private messages without their permission.
6. No scams or spam
No fraud, fundraising schemes, repetitive promotion, or misleading links.
7. No impersonation
Don't pretend to be another person, a Guide, a professional, or the Belongward team.
8. No dangerous or intentionally harmful advice
You're welcome to share what worked for you. Don't present dangerous instructions as safe or as professional guidance, and don't tell people to stop needed medical care.
9. Self-harm and suicide
It's okay to talk about hard feelings and to ask for help — that's part of why Belongward exists. Content that encourages, glorifies or gives instructions for self-harm or suicide isn't allowed.
10. Prayer and faith
Prayer and faith are welcome here, and so are people of any belief or none. Don't pressure, shame, threaten or harass anyone because of what they believe or don't believe.
11. Guides
Guides must respect members' boundaries, never solicit money or push outside services, and never exploit someone's vulnerability. Guide status isn't a licence to give professional advice outside a verified role.
12. Reporting
If something seems to break these Guidelines, please report it using the menu on the post, response or profile. Reports are private. Please don't retaliate or pile on — let the team review it. We may not act on every report, and we don't monitor everything. For non-emergency safety concerns you can also email support@joinbelongward.com.
13. If you or someone else is in crisis
Belongward is not an emergency service or crisis centre, and no one is watching posts around the clock. A moderator may not see a post quickly.
- If anyone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services now (in the U.S., call 911).
- In the U.S., you can call or text 988 to reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
- Outside the U.S., contact your local emergency number or a local crisis line.
